Davide Venturelli

Associate Director, Quantum Computing USRA Research Institute for Advanced Computer Science

Davide Venturelli graduated from Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon and obtained his Ph.D. in Numerical Simulations of the Condensed Matter at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste and in Nanophysics at the Universite de Grenoble (CNRS/UJF). He worked as a post-doc at Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, Italy, in the Condensed Matter and Information Theory group. Before joining QuAIL, his past publications include quantum condensed matter, many-body theory, device designs in collaboration with experimentalists, quantum thermodynamics, quantum phase transitions, and non-equilibrium spin/charge/energy transport in mesoscopic systems.

MAIN CONFERENCE AGENDA DAY 1

2:30 PM What is the present and future relationship between quantum and AI?

  • Can Quantum Speed Up AI Algorithms?
  • What are the practical constraints and challenges of building quantum AI hardware?
  • How can quantum and classical AI models be combined effectively?
  • As quantum AI advances, what ethical and security implications should be considered?
  • How accessible will quantum AI hardware be for researchers and businesses?
  • Ultimately, what real-world problems can quantum AI solve better than classical AI approaches?

Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Davide.
