Head of Applied Quantum Physics Thales Research & Development
Thierry Debuisschert defended his PhD thesis in physics at Ecole Normale Supérieure in 1990 on quantum noise reduction. He defended the Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches in 2009. He is scientist at Thales Research & Technology since 1990, and is responsible for the Applied Quantum Physics activity.
His research fields cover nonlinear optics, quantum cryptography and NV centers in diamond. He has contributed to numerous research projects at national or European level in lasers, tunable laser sources, quantum cryptography networks, single-photon detectors, NV centers in diamond. Since 2013, he is coordinator of the Integrated Project DIADEMS which is developing NV centers based on magnetometers.
